Marco Peralta (CEO/Founder) Being a natural artist at the age of 17, he and his twin brother Miguel held their first art exposition at the “Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (I.T.E.S.M.)” where they attended high school.

Soon before attending college, Marco moved to the Caribbean to work for the largest Real Estate/Time Share Agency “The Palace Resorts” As a Sales Consultant, Marco became the top producer for the company.

At the age of 20, Marco moved to Memphis, TN and enrolled at the University of Memphis where he graduated with a degree in International Business. Right after college in the year 2000, he was hired by Wells Fargo Financial and his career as a Banker started and soon became one of the number one consultants nationwide.

Supported by his dreams, Marco and his brother moved to Miami, FL to continue chasing their goals. With a strong banking background, he joined the number one financial institution at the time as a Consultant. His career as a banker ended in the year of 2007 when he decided to pursue his ambition and passion to create and launch a social networking site devoted to the entertainment industry.

As a Real Estate licensee, Marco continues to be involved in the Real Estate industry but now as a private investor. Marco decided to continue his education and joined the Art Institute of Ft, Lauderdale, where he is currently studying advertising and Web design.

Marco is the original founder of “U Mambo” and has been instrumental in creating the design of the site.

Miguel Peralta (EVP/Founder) He is considered an autodidact in Art (Painting) and at the age of seventeen Miguel and his twin brother Marco, held their first Art exhibition at the Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (I.T.E.S.M.)

After graduating from High School, Miguel moved to Can-Cun Mexico with his brother to explore a career in hospitality with a major hotel chain, The Palace Resorts. After a year and hungry for more adventures in his life, he moved to the United States (Tennessee) to study International Business at the University of Memphis.

After achieving his bachelor in business, Miguel moved to Atlanta to start a magazine for entertainers that later will inspire Umambo’s creation. Miguel eventually moved to France and Spain but his heart was left behind in America were he eventually returned to continue his work in the business world.

At the age of twenty five, he joined Wells Fargo Home Mortgage as a banker, achieving great personal and financial success. At the age of twenty seven Miguel moved to Miami to continue his career as a consultant with other financial institutions. After eight years in the banking industry he felt the need to explore different opportunities in his life and he came across Film & Digital production. Miguel is currently a student at the Miami International University of Art and Design and his knowledge gained in production and post production will be instrumental in the development of Umambo’s video section.

Ivan Hueso (CTO/Founder) Since an early age Ivan knew that working with computers, specifically graphic design and programming, was his passion. He moved to Miami, Florida, at the age of 15, where he learned English as his second Language and continued with his desire to learn different aspects of the technology behind the computer industry.

After finishing high school, he made the decision to tone his skills and obtain a Bachelors Degree in WebDesign with a specialty in programming at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.

Ivan has been a professional Web developer/designer since 2004. His current knowledge on PHP, JAVASCRIPT, HTML, FLASH, AJAX, MYSQL, ACTIONSCRIPT, CSS, PHOTOSHOP, ILLUSTATOR, AFTER EFFECTS, XML, and being bilingual has helped him open many doors and quickly grow as a talented Web Designer and programmer.

 

Computer programming and web design not only requires passion but a strong knowledge and talent to succeed in this industry. He is one of the founding members of Umambo.com and over sees the daily management of the programming and design side of the business.

Adam Kaufman (CFO/Co-Founder) Is a veteran real estate broker with extensive experience in residential and commercial real estate transactions.

After Graduating college with a bachelors degree in Secondary Education, Adam began teaching at South Plantation High School where he created the schools first career development business course which was implemented into the social studies program . After teaching, he started his real estate career in 1996 with American Invesco, which at that time was the largest condominium conversion company in the world. He was selected as their international Director of Sales for the Yacht Club at Aventura where he played an integral role in achieving the sellout of 430 units. From there, Adam left Invesco to join his twin brother Seth and their uncle, Jerry Kaufman, in the development business.

Their first venture together in 2001 was the Highland Beach Club, a conversion in Boca Raton, FL where they successfully sold all 230 units. Realizing the potential of the condo sales market, the Kaufmans formed Global Marketing Group (GMG), a full service sales and marketing organization. Adam, along with GMG, went on to have success with properties such as Ocean Place in Ft. Lauderdale, Atrium Aventura, Isla Morada’s Cheeca Lodge, the Tides, Breakwater, Edison and Royal Palm hotels in South Beach, The Blue and Regalia, a 43 story ultra luxury high-rise currently being developed by The Kaufman Organization and sold by Global Marketing Group. Over the course of his career, Adam has sold 800+ units totaling over $400 million.

Adam is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Florida and a member of the Florida Realtors Association, and is the registered broker for all of GMG properties. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Fairmont State College and currently lives in South Florida.

Seth Kaufman (CMO/Co-Founder) Is well known as one of the most thorough and conscientious real estate sales professionals in South Florida. In his role as a senior partner he contributes a unique set of talents and aspirations to Global Marketing Group. In particular, Seth is interested in working with developers from inception to completion to bring a thorough understanding of project specifics to his clientele. He’s also adept at utilizing public relations to maximize property exposure.

Among Seth’s previous successes is Renaissance on the Ocean in Hollywood, Sunset Harbour, Royal Palm, Tides, Breakwater and Edison on South Beach, Regatta, The Peninsula in Bay Harbour, Atrium and Peninsula in Aventura, Highland Beach Club in Boca Raton, and Carlisle on the Ocean in Surfside. He is currently working on the Blue and Regalia in Sunny Isles. Over the course of his career, Seth has sold 1000+ units totaling over $400 million.

Seth has been a licensed real estate professional in the state of Florida for over 10 years, is the registered broker for all GMG properties and is a member of the Florida Association of Realtors. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in education from West Virginia University.

Now Seth & Adam play a key part in the rollout of properties in diversified urban and resort markets. They are dedicated to leading a proven sales organization driven by efficient and intelligent marketing strategies. One of the key elements of their business has been the development of an extensive network of broker contacts, both domestic and international.
