With the internet becoming an ever growing way of getting exposure, UMambo has developed an application called “VIdeo Resume”. Whether you’re an actor, dancer, singer, musician, etc., you can create your own resume to be viewed from our home page or from your own portfolio page. You may upload a video of yourself talking about your acheivements, experience and goals and lead into (if you wish) a video montage. Agencies, talent scouts, casting directors and even fans can search through the Video Resume section to look for talent. Within your video resume there will be a link taking the viewer straight to your UMambo portfolio page for more information about you and your talent(s). You may also forward your video resume via email to anyone you’d like.

A video Resume should be precise and have a set of preselected questions that you will answer.
Your introduction should include your personal contact information. Be clear and look at the camera at all times, don’t look down and always have a positive way to talk about yourself.
If you are a multi talented entertainer, be sure to include all your experience. Employers and talent scouts that utilize this tool is just to get to know your personality. This Video Resume will not replace a written one; however, it is more likely to get a face to face interview once they have gotten acquainted with your personality.
Remember that this innovated technique should be professionally recorded, avoid the amateur home video look. It is the first shot you have to make a first good impression.
